This week’s Kudos goes to Parker Schwartz (they/them/theirs), a rising senior (‘23) at RWU with a Secondary Education and English Literature double major, for their first published article in The Macksey Journal!
The Macksey Journal is the proceedings journal of the Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium at Johns Hopkins University. It allows students across all humanities fields to come together and share their work.
Parker presented their article, Transphobia in Shrek: an Anti-Feminist Attack, at the online Symposium last Spring 2022, thanks to the support of the RWU Provost Foundation! Subsequently, Parker revised the paper, which was accepted for publication in October 2022!
