RWU Theatre presents… The School For Lies!
Come and support Roger Williams’ first mainstage show of the semester!
Who’s telling the truth? Who’s the liar? Who’s in love with who? Find out in this comedic stage play Inspired by Moliere’s The Misanthrope.
Set in 1666 with a bit of a modern interpretation, The School For Lies tells the story of a beautiful young widow who is being sued for her satiric tongue. In order to win her case, she turns to a traveler from England, who is known for his own wittiness, and rumored to be descended from royalty.
Told verbally through rhymed couplets, this show is a love story, mystery, and a comedy all in one.
The School For Lies will have performances in the RWU Performing Arts Center on February 24th and 25th at 7:30pm, and February 26th at 2:00pm. The show will also run the following weekend on March 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at 7:30pm.
We hope to see you there!
