Kudos

Adrienne Wooster ‘2019

By Alicia Ortiz Alba

For this week’s Kudos, we are happy to spotlight fellow RWU alumni Adrienne Wooster. Learn more about Adrienne below!

Hi all! My name is Adrienne Wooster, and I am a RWU Creative Writing and Visual Arts alumni. Since graduating in 2019, my life has taken several eclectic paths – from applying my writing skills in administration for a biotech company during the pandemic to transitioning back into the artistic sphere as the Executive Assistant at The Collaborative, an arts non-profit in Warren, RI.

Recently, I have been talking with the RWU Creative Writing and Visual Arts Departments about potential collaborative projects. We would love to extend The Collaborative’s opportunities, events, and programs to RWU students!

Interested in creative writing and art workshops, exhibiting work in our gallery spaces, or submitting to our literary and visual arts magazine (which we are trying to revamp)? Let me know – contact details are below! It makes me immensely happy to be reconnecting with my alma mater.

In addition to my work with The Collaborative, I still write creatively and am a visual artist working primarily in photography and collage. My work has been featured in several exhibitions, and I’m here as a resource to share tips that have worked for me so far in my career (always a work in progress)!

Thank you to RWU Voices for featuring me in this week’s Kudos!

The Voices Team thanks Adrienne for allowing us to feature her!
