Today’s Kudos goes out to Dr. Susan Pasquarelli’s ENG 210 and EDU 395 classes!
Both classes were involved in events that were held at the Rogers Free Library in Bristol a few weeks ago. The ENG 210 (Myth, Fantasy, and Imagination) students were involved in the “Bestiary” project in which they each created a sculpture of a mythological beast. Their sculptures were then put on display at the Rogers Free Library. Check out some of their work in the featured image above as well as the photos below!
The EDU 395 (Teaching Writing in the High School) English Lit/Secondary Ed students were involved in holding a “Reader’s Theatre” at the Rogers Free Library. At the event, they had a table reading of sorts of two books from the Wilson translated version of The Odyssey. They held rehearsals in March which led up to a performance on March 25th. They had a full house! See the photos below!
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in these events! We hope it was a great experience and that you all had fun!
