The Time Traveller’s Wife as a musical is pure genius, and it is absolutely stunning.
Based on the 2003 novel by Audrey Niffenegger, it tells the story of a man who can slip through time at any given moment and how it affects the people around him, including his loving wife.
It may sound like a bizarre choice to turn into a musical at first, but it is something you really have to see to believe. The music is beautiful, the actors at this particular production delivered a brilliant performance, and the technical aspects are so perfect, it has you questioning, “How did they do that?” throughout the whole show. It is truly a masterpiece.
The Time Traveller’s Wife made its West End debut at the Apollo Theatre in London. As of now, it is exclusively playing in London. Hopefully it will tour in the USA soon! This show is an absolute must see!
