Attention all English Literature and Creative Writing majors!
The English and Creative Writing Department will be hosting its annual Career Night on Wednesday, November 15th, from 6-8 PM at the Mary Tefft White Center. It allows current students to gain insights from four exceptional and successful alumni and learn about their post-graduate journeys.
Meet our panelists for this year’s Career Night!
Andrea Goodman is a Marketing Specialist for Eversource’s Electric Mobility programs. On a typical day in this role, she does the copywriting and editing for a variety of channels and mediums, including email, print mail, social media, and the web.
Ash Aliengena has worked in Adult Education since 2012. They work with (im)migrants and refugees from 40+ countries, teaching free English classes for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). They’ve worked in both community college and non-profit settings. Ash is also pursuing a TESOL Master’s from SIT in Brattleboro, VT.
Mallorey Blake moved to Boston after graduation and has spent the last 10 years recruiting top talent throughout many different industries. Mallorey is currently a Senior Talent Partner at Consigli Construction, a $3 billion general contractor throughout the northeast. She is responsible for the strategic and continuous growth of Consigli’s workforce. She works hand in hand with top executives, Mallorey has recruited and hired individuals ranging from entry-level to Director/CEO-level candidates. Mallorey has hired the most RWU alumni compared to Consigli’s competitors and is excited to continually support RWU grad’s professional development.
Kevin Deeb is a current Career Advisor at Roger Williams University. After receiving his Master’s degree from Providence College, he is happy to be back at Roger now working in a professional setting and supporting and mentoring students and alumni!

The Alumni Career Night happens only once a year, so be sure to join us! Sandwiches and a fruit platter will be served at the event!
