As we wind down in our final weeks of the fall semester at RWU, it’s time to look ahead at the spring and new opportunities! Two new work study jobs are available for the spring semester: Video Coordinator and Editorial Intern.
Three lucky video coordinators will be working for the office of Marketing and Communications to work with the content team on multimedia projects with a focus on photography, video capture, editing, post production, motion graphics, and animation. Editorial Interns assist the University Marketing and Communications Department with telling the news on campus and writing the stories of their fellow students, staff, and faculty. They work in a close knit team to create profiles, interview, write stories, market, and more. This position is open to students who have completed a minimum of one year of relevant coursework in the following majors: Communication & Media Studies, Creative Writing, English Literary Studies, Journalism, or Public Relations. To be considered for the position, applicants must send in two writing samples and the name of one university faculty or staff member as a reference.
