Attention Writers!
For National Poetry Month in April 2023, the Roger Williams University (RWU) Library and the Writing Center will host a Campus Poetry Walk with the theme of Celebrating the Spaces We Live In. In order to bring together the RWU community, the Campus Poetry Walk will include the following:
- An outdoor walking route through campus that exhibits original poetry by our community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni).
- A Community Event & Reception featuring a public talk by former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky.
- A virtual exhibition that preserves and highlights the Campus Poetry Walk.
Here is a calendar of all the deadlines leading up to the event!
- November 15th, 2022: Pre-submission workshop.
Where: School of Business, Room 104
Time: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- February 5th, 2023: Pre-submission workshop #2.
